Page to PDF — Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2, 2026

Summary: Page to PDF sends the current page URL to our server for screenshot capture. No personal data is collected or stored. Screenshots are generated in real-time and never saved on our servers.

What the extension does

Page to PDF captures full-page screenshots of web pages in Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile viewports, then assembles them into a single PDF document.

How it works

  1. When you click "Generate PDF", the extension reads the URL of your current tab.
  2. The URL is sent to our screenshot server (responsive.sydney-boisseau.com).
  3. Our server opens the URL in a headless browser, captures full-page screenshots at each selected viewport, and generates a PDF.
  4. The PDF is returned to the extension and downloaded to your computer.
  5. No data is stored on our server after the PDF is delivered.

Data NOT collected

Data retention

URLs and screenshots exist only in server memory during processing (typically 5-15 seconds). Once the PDF is delivered, all data is immediately discarded. No logs of captured URLs are maintained.

Third-party services

The screenshot server uses Playwright (headless Chromium) to render pages. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used.
