    Summary: Review Checker sends the current website's domain name to our server to fetch reviews from public review platforms. No personal data is collected or stored.
  

What the extension does

Review Checker aggregates public review data from multiple platforms (Trustpilot, ScamAdviser, Sitejabber, etc.) to help you assess a website's trustworthiness before making a purchase.

How it works

When you click "Check Reviews", the extension reads the domain name from your current tab.
The domain is sent to our server (responsive.sydney-boisseau.com).
Our server queries public review platforms for that domain and computes a trust score.
Results are returned to the extension and displayed in the popup.
Results are cached on our server for 1 hour to improve speed. No permanent storage.

Data collected

Domain name of the page you check — sent to our server to query review platforms. Cached for up to 1 hour, then discarded.
Your IP address — used only for rate limiting (5 requests per minute). Not logged or stored.

Data NOT collected

No personal information (name, email, location)
No browsing history or page content
No cookies from your browser
No analytics or tracking
No account required

Security

All communication uses HTTPS encryption.
Rate limiting prevents abuse (5 checks per minute).
